Iqbal Rachmad Anwarl200194074@student.ums.ac.idDiah Priyawatil200194074@student.ums.ac.idJudging from daily activities, human beings heavily rely on the internet for communication purposes. and exchange information using either social media applications or browsers, vonsistently fast internet speeds are incredibly beneficial for performing tasks and activities, particularly for students and professionals. A sluggish internet connection can be frustrating and may lead to interruptions in online activities and tasks if it persists. Hence, this study examines a comparative evaluation of two approaches, Per Connection Classifier (PCC) and Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) in Load Balancing through GNS3 simulation. Load balancing, as a method for evenly distributing traffic loads, and failover, as a backup mechanism when the main connection experiences problems. GNS3 is a graphical network simulator program that can transmit more complex network topologies compared to other simulators, for example Cisco Packet Tracer. The primary aim of this study is to comprehend how efficiently both techniques distribute traffic loads, maintaining smooth internet access, and increasing reliability. The PCC method produces better throughput, delay and jitter compared to the ECMP method, even though it has slightly different values for each QoS parameter. In testing traffic distribution, the PCC method outperforms the ECMP method. The PCC method can distribute traffic evenly across both ISP lines when downloading and uploading data packets. Meanwhile, the ECMP method can only carry out download and upload activities on one traffic path.2024-03-01T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2024 SISTEMASIhttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3968Identification of Student Learning Styles based on Multiple Intelligences Aspects using the Dempster-Shafer Method2024-03-28T11:34:12-04:00Julkarnain Hidayatjulkarnain.hidayat@gmail.comRaissa Amanda Putriraissa.ap@uinsu.ac.idLearning style refers to an individual's process of understanding and absorbing information, which is influenced by sensory preferences, problem-solving strategies, and communication styles. Posyandu Aek Nagali Village does not yet have an information technology-based application that helps Cadres to record and find back the information handled by mothers and children. All records are still done manually on paper. Of course this is very vulnerable to data loss, data recording errors, difficulty finding data and unable to access data together. Recapitulation that is done manually is very prone to errors and will take up quite a lot of time. This manual recording process also complicates the reporting process to the village level. Likewise, when cadres report results to the Puskesmas, they still have to do manual recapitulation. This information is useful for knowing the child's growth, whether there are deviations or not. If there is a deviation, it is immediately known and followed up by medical personnel at Posyandu.2024-03-11T02:51:23-04:00Copyright (c) 2024 SISTEMASIhttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3802DDoS Protection System for SDN Network Based on Multi Controller and Load Balancer2024-03-28T11:34:12-04:00Husnul UlfaHUSNULULFA3@GMAIL.COMAkbari Indra BasukiHUSNULULFA3@GMAIL.COMGalura Muhammad SuranegaraHUSNULULFA3@GMAIL.COMAhmad Fauzihusnululfa3@upi.eduDDoS attacks on SDN networks can create a single point of failure that has the potential to disrupt the overall network performance. In a single controller scheme, there is a potential risk of experiencing buffer overload, leading to traffic congestion as switches must wait for responses from the controller before forwarding network packets. To address this challenge, this research implements security measures using a multi-controller and load balancer approach, aiming to enhance SDN network resilience against DDoS attacks. The system operates by distributing the workload from the main controller to a backup controller through a load balancer when indications of a DDoS attack are detected. These attack indications are determined based on the miss rate value of unique forwarding requests exceeding a specific threshold. The results of this approach have proven effective in improving the reliability, responsiveness, and quality of SDN network traffic during DDoS attacks. The testing parameters involved in this research include controller response time and network traffic quality, comprising latency, bandwidth, throughput, and jitter. Based on the test results, the multi-controller and load balancer-based approach successfully enhanced network quality and controller responsiveness by 66.51% compared to the longer single controller scenario, specifically 202.49% during DDoS attacks. In terms of controller responsiveness, there is a very slight increase of around 0.01% in latency between the two. While Multi Controller demonstrated a remarkable 43.21% increase in throughput compared to Single Controller, this improvement in throughput is accompanied by a significant 204% increase in jitter.2024-03-10T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2024 SISTEMASIhttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3273Classification of Suspicious Financial Transactions using Light Gradient Boosting Machine Method (LGBM) based on Social Network Analysis (SNA) Indicators2024-03-28T11:34:12-04:00Ayu Fara Paramithaayufaraparamitha01@gmail.comYuti Dewita Arimbiyuti.arimbi@gmail.comSlamet Riyantoslam011@brin.go.idNiken Fitria Aprianinike007@brin.go.idAl Hafiz Akbar Maulana Siagianalha001@brin.go.idMoney laundering is an act committed by individuals or a group to conceal or disguise the origin of wealth obtained from illegal activities into assets that appear to have been acquired through legal means. Generally, there are three money laundering processes: placement, layering, and integration. The complexity of these money laundering processes described above makes it difficult to trace suspicious financial transactions and identify the parties involved and which transactions are connected to the suspected money laundering network. To address this issue, Social Network Analysis (SNA) is implemented to generate SNA features. In the following stage, these SNA features are employed as indicators to detect suspicious financial activities. The gathered indicator data is utilized to build a classification model using the Light Gradient-Boosting Machine (LGBM) approach. The results of this study show that the model created using SNA and LGBM methods achieved an accuracy of 97%. The precision, recall, and F1-Score values for non-suspicious transaction data were 98%, 97%, and 97%, respectively, while for suspicious transaction data, they were 97%, 98%, and 97%, respectively. The achieved accuracy values were quite high indicating that the used approach was capable of effectively classifying suspicious financial activities. We believe that the findings of this study could be an alternative method for detecting suspicious financial transactions in order to avoid money laundering operations.2024-03-01T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2024 Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasihttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3429Analysis IT Governance of Perumdam Tirta Siak using COBIT 2019 and ISO270012024-03-28T11:34:12-04:00Mayang Sarimayang.sari4633@student.unri.ac.idYanti Andriyaniyanti.andriyani@lecturer.unri.ac.idIbnu Daqiqil Idibnu.daqiqil@lecturer.unri.ac.idSukamto Sukamtosukamto@lecturer.unri.ac.idPerumdam Tirta Siak Pekanbaru (PDAM) is a local government company responsible for the management and fulfillment of water needs. With forecasting, the company can make the right policy or decision for the raw materials to be produced. Therefore, forecasting is very important for Rumah Tempe Yusnita so that the amount of raw material inventory is not excessive or insufficient in production, the more inventory results in spoilage that occurs and can also affect losses to Rumah Tempe Yusnita. The Single Exponential Smoothing and Single Moving Average methods with the comparison of these methods will obtain both methods that can provide greater flexibility, using the SES method to respond to rapid changes and SMA to compensate or flatten larger fluctuations. Prediction analysis of raw materials using the SES and SMA methods at Rumah Tempe Yusnita can help owners predict raw materials that produce information quickly, precisely and accurately.2024-03-23T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2024 Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasihttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/4020Implementation of Geographic Information System for Hotels and Lodging in Asahan Regency2024-03-28T11:34:41-04:00Adinda Salsabilaadindasalsabila0897@gmail.comNurwati Nurwatinurwati763@gmail.comMaulana Dwi Senamaulanadwisena@gmail.comAsahan Regency is one of the regencies located in North Sumatra. There are hotels and inns scattered at several points in Asahan Regency. Visitors from outside Asahan Regency and local residents still do not know the distribution points. It is still difficult to find out the closest route to hotels and inns. This will make visitors confused about the location of the hotel. So with that, a system is needed that can facilitate tourists and the government in Asahan Regency, especially the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office, to provide accurate information and promotional tools about the location of hotels and inns to help visitors find the right accommodation. That is by creating a Geographic Information System for Hotels and Lodging in Asahan Regency by utilizing the Google Maps API which displays information related to the location of hotels and inns as well as detailed hotel and inn information such as addresses, hotel prices and other information and also displays information about the Asahan Regency Youth, Sports and Tourism Office.2024-03-23T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2024 Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasihttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/4002Public Service Performance Analysis using Servqual Method in Bandar Pasir Mandoge Village2024-03-29T01:52:28-04:00Dhea Rahmadhanidhearahmadhani0112@gmail.comWilliam Ramdhandhearahmadhani0112@gmail.comAbdul Karim Syaputradhearahmadhani0112@gmail.comImproving service in an agency cannot be separated from several aspects that must be possessed, such as assurance, empathy, responsiveness, reliability and physical evidence. However, so far the bookkeeping of sales of goods at Malco Fashion Store still uses a manual system that is written in a ledger. Malco Fashion shop owners cannot know the amount of goods to be provided for the next period. Therefore, the utilization of a sales forecasting system will greatly assist the store in processing data and transactions regarding sales. Because with the data related to the sale of goods from the previous period, it can conclude or predict the sales volume in the coming period. Therefore, the utilization of a sales forecasting system will greatly assist stores in data processing and transactions regarding sales. Because with the data related to the sale of goods from the previous period can conclude or predict the sales volume in the coming period. Accurate predictions in the sale of goods can be achieved using the least squares method or Least Square method based on historical data on sales of goods for the last few months. This method was chosen because it is the most commonly used method to determine the similarity of data trends. With the Least Square Method at Malco Fashion store can help in forecasting sales of goods in the next period accurately and quickly so that business owners can predict stock of goods to minimize shortages of goods and reduce excess stock of goods2024-03-23T00:00:00-04:00Copyright (c) 2024 Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasihttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3884Analysis of LoRa with LoRaWAN Technology Indoors in Polytechnic of Malang Environment2024-03-28T11:34:13-04:00Noprianto Nopriantonoprianto@polinema.ac.idHabibie Ed Dienhabibie@polinema.ac.idM. Hasyim Ratsanjanihsy@polinema.ac.idMuhammad Afif Hendrawanafif.hendrawan@polinema.ac.idTechnology is one of the fields heavily influenced by rapid developments, undergoing significant changes each year. One of the technologies affected is data transmission. Data transmission faces its own challenges, and each region encounters different constraints in their connections, such as the distance of data delivery. In this regard, expanding the data delivery range is crucial to optimize connections and system performance. The use of LoRaWAN for sensor monitoring in IoT devices is designed to transmit data over a wide area with low power consumption and long-term usability, thus overcoming these issues. Data collection in this study utilizes the technique of measuring RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio), and LoRa's time interval, considering distance and location parameters at Politeknik Negeri Malang and its surrounding areas. Locations chosen include each floor of the Civil Engineering building to obtain data parameters like RSSI, SNR, and time intervals, which improve when the distance between the transmitting LoRa node and the LoRa gateway gets closer. After conducting tests, it was found that using a 35 dBi antenna outperforms a 10 dBi antenna in data transmission. This was evidenced by the RSSI values approaching 0 from floor 8 to 1 in the Civil Engineering building of Politeknik Negeri Malang. Additionally, the use of a 35 dBi antenna resulted in a 50% faster data transmission compared to the 10 dBi antenna. LoRaWAN technology, particularly The Things Network, can be employed to manage LoRa. However, similar technologies like Chripstack can also be used to manage LoRaWAN more flexibly on the local network2024-03-23T11:13:22-04:00Copyright (c) 2024 SISTEMASIhttp://sistemasi.ftik.unisi.ac.id/index.php/stmsi/article/view/3804Network Forensic: Analysis of Client Attack and Quality of Service Measurement by ARP Poisoning using Network Forensic Generic Process (NFGP) Model2024-03-28T11:34:13-04:00Rizdqi Akbar Ramadhanrr6369791@gmail.comAgro Tambas Tirarr6369791@gmail.comM.
