Focus and Scope

Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasi aims to disseminate research on information system and computer science. This Journal invites original empirical (qualitative or quantitative) research, literature reviews, theoretical or methodological contributions, integrative reviews, meta-analyses, comparative or historical studies on the following topics:

Peer Review Process

Each submitted manuscript is assigned to one of the appointed editors. The most important criterion for acceptance/rejection is originality of the material presented in the manuscript. Reviewers are recruited among the recognized experts relevant for the given area.

Reviewers are advised to consider the following important aspects of a manuscript when conducting the review.

1. Reporting of Original Results:

The results reported in the manuscript must be original and authentic work of the authors. They should be devoid of any plagiarism and the material should not have been published earlier. 

2. Experiments and Analyses:

Experiments and other analyses should meet the recognized technical standards and must be described systematically. The research presented in a manuscript should facilitate in reaching accurate conclusions from the statistics. 

3. Interpretation of Results:

Authors should present and interpret the results and conclusions in an appropriate and comprehensive manner, clearly explaining the results and outcomes of their study. Incomplete interpretation of results may result in rejection of the manuscript.

4. Language of Composition:

The manuscript should be written in English or in Bahasa Indonesia in a clear, direct and active style, free from grammatical errors and other linguistic inconsistencies. All pages should be numbered sequentially, facilitating the reviewing and editing of the manuscript. 

5. Manuscript Evaluation:

Evaluation of manuscripts is carried out by the journal’s Editors and the invited external peer reviewers.  After review of the manuscript, the decision is relayed to the authors, which may be categorized as:

  • Accept without changes
  • Revisions Required
  • Reject

The Editor's journal have the right to select reviewers for a particular manuscript considering the knowledge and experience of the reviewers.


 

Publication Frequency

The Journal is published bimonthly, appearing on the last day of  January, March, May, July, September and November

 

Open Access Policy

Sistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasi is an open access peer-reviewed journal, which means that articles published in Sistemasi are made freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription barriers to access. Researchers can copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, for any purpose. Authors can self-archive publisher's version of the accepted article in digital repositories and archives.

 

Author Fees

All content published in Sistemasi is made freely available online to all under an Open Access model. Currently there are no processing charges associated with submitting an article to Sistemasi for peer-review and publication. There are no subscription fees and all content is available as full text in either PDF and/or HTML.
